About Bilteska

Ukraine-born Electro Queen Biletska brings a mix of intimate sensuality, combined with a menacing sadness, to this forboding electro-pop track, produced by Nashville’s Handmade (Gavin Shea & Chris Gill), brimming with caramel-laden harmonies, honeyed vocal melodies contrasting with the heavy buzzers and gears of the production. Biletska is ready to reconcile, but before she does, she lays her heart on the line. “I feel like I’m the only one putting in the effort in relationships, and it’s unfair. Relationships are hard work, but if both sides don’t commit, the relationship is out of balance” I want to be in a balanced relationship that feels equal.”

Originally from a city called Cherkasy in Ukraine, growing up as Maryna Biletska. Her father left to join a cult before she was born, so she grew up with a single mother who worked tirelessly to provide enough for themselves. Her mother met her step-dad when Maryna was 4, and neither shared her passion for music. Instead of hanging at the mall, this young athletic teen went to choirs and devoted much time to her favorite animals – parrots. She also spent her time writing poetry and drawing illustrations based on her dreams of getting out of Ukraine and the one-bedroom shoebox apartment the three shared. Dreaming of being free, America seemed like the best place to be. The opportunity arose when she was 18 through the “work and travel” program at her university that took her to New York City.Later, Maryna got accepted on The Voice TV show and then offered to tour Europe with Michael Angelo Batio, the fastest guitar shredder of all time and inventor of the double guitar. This incredible experience helped Maryna to build confidence as a singer and performer. A year before Maryna left Ukraine; she had recorded her first solo album under the moniker “Marsy Flame,” releasing it when she moved to Nashville in 2019, knowing that she wanted to pursue a full-time career in music. Music City seemed a perfect choice. Nashville is where she met her latest collaborator, the other half of pop duo Cosmo Santo and began her love affair of pop and songwriting. Cosmo released an EP “Sunda” in 2019. Biletska is currently working on a solo pop/electronic project and will be releasing new music later this year.EP “Sunda” in 2019.
